In 2010, a 4-year-old female Grizzly made her way across Flathead Lake and a GPS collar tracked the 15-mile journey from Painted Rocks, Cedar Island, Wild Horse Island, Rocky Point, Bird Island, and finally to the West Shore near Blue Bay. Chasing the Grizzly is STAGE ONE of the Flathead Lake Open Water Virtual Grand Slam.
