Best Fest in Colonial Sant Jordi, Mallorca Spain May 23th-30th, 2026
Celebrate the 11th year of this vibrant open water swimming festival hosted by Best Centre Sports, the top Olympic swimming venue in Europe, featuring two-time Olympic champion Sharon Van Rouwendaal. Held in the stunning Colonia de Sant Jordi, recognized as the world's best city for open water swimming, this week-long event welcomes swimmers of all ages (14 to 114!) and skill levels.
Participate in seven iconic races, from a 4x500m relay to distances ranging from 1.5k to 10k. With an exciting mix of elite athletes, juniors, and recreational swimmers, BEST Fest is as inclusive as it is thrilling. Add lively evening socials to the breathtaking swims, and it’s the ultimate destination for open water enthusiasts.

This one-of-a-kind event takes swimmers on a breathtaking journey through Portland’s Willamette River, navigating under 12 of the city’s most stunning bridges. Spanning over 11 miles, this is a true test of endurance, strategy, and mental toughness—perfect for seasoned open-water athletes seeking their next challenge.

Applegate Lake Open Water Weekend, OR on July 8th, 2026
Each year Rogue Valley Masters hosts an open water swim series at beautiful Applegate Lake in Southern Oregon.
The 2026 event will include the USMS Marathon Distance Open Water National Championship (10K)!
The 10k, 5k and 2.5k events take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026. The 1500m and 3x500m Pursuit Sprint Relay are on Sunday, July 19th, 2026.
Swim The Fish in Whitefish, MT on August 8th, 2026
There is a 1 mile, 1/2 mile, and a 5K (3.1 miles) swim option. The races will take place on a loop course starting and finishing at Whitefish City Beach. Currently we plan on using chip timing so we can stagger race starts and provide distancing of swimmers; sanitizer stations will be placed for your convenience and food will be provided.
