Wild Horse Island

At eight miles around, Wild Horse Island is the largest of Flathead Lakes’ islands. As the name suggests, wild horses continue living on the island to this day, as well as several other animals including numerous deer, Big Horn Sheep, and the occasional bear. Made up mostly of a State Park, there are miles of hiking trails and some amazing views.
